Cassification ski groups

The right group for every child

In our ski courses, your children will be divided into the group that is right for them. Little ski stars who have already had their first skiing experience start somewhere else than those who are on skis for the first time. 

Our classification is based on a simple color system. A first, rough classification according to color takes place when you book online or in the ski school office. The fine division then happens directly on the slope.

THE SOONER THE BETTER?

  • 3-4 year old children need 3 to 5 days to learn the snow brake. From the age of 3 years a ski start is recommended - provided that the child feels like it. The children make their first experiences with skis and snow, train them balance and practice turning your feet. So we work our way slowly but purposefully in the direction of snow brakes, and the little ones have more great basics for next winter.

  • With 4 years we need about 3-4 course days to teach children how to snow brake and how to turn. The joy of skiing is the focus of the course. Braking and turning is first practiced on very easy practice slopes, and by the end of the week we mostly manage runs on easy blue slopes.

  • 5-6 year old children just need more about 2 days to learn the snow brake. At 5-6 years is the coordinative and conditional learning ability optimal and therefore all children in this age group succeed in learning to ski, with only a few exceptions. Most of the time the snow brake works after 1-2 course days and at the end of the week children can descent with safe cornering.

  • From the age of 7 years children even manage to brake after one day
